DropSet/Guide/The web dashboard

The web dashboard

The web dashboard is DropSet in a desktop browser - the same account, the same data, live-synced both ways. Train on your phone at the gym, then sit down and review your week on a proper screen: charts are bigger, tables breathe, and editing routines with a keyboard is far quicker than thumb-typing.

There's nothing to install and no separate account. Access comes with DropSet Pro - and Pro is free for everyone during the beta.

Getting in

The web dashboard is desktop-only by design: a phone browser will point you to the Android app instead, because on a phone the app is simply better - timers, notifications, haptics and the camera all live there.

  1. On a computer, open dropsetapp.com and hit Sign in in the header.
  2. Enter the same email you use in the app - a 6-digit code arrives by email and submits itself on the last digit.
  3. That's it: your workouts, programs, analytics and body data are all there, and anything you change syncs straight back to your phone.

What the big screen is best at

Everything works on the web, but some things are simply better there. Analytics spreads out: the charts, heatmaps and comparison views that feel cramped on a phone get room to breathe, and a full year of training history fits on one screen.

Planning is the other big win. Reviewing a program's week grid, reading the Program Report after a training block, browsing the 50-program catalog, or building a routine in the editor - all of it is faster with a mouse and keyboard, and every change is on your phone before you've stood up.

It's also the comfortable place to do admin: importing history from another app, exporting backups, and tidying your exercise library.

Did you know?

The sidebar's accent swatches change the app's colour scheme - the same six presets as the phone app, synced to your account.

What stays on the phone

Phone hardware stays on the phone: the camera (progress photos and the post-workout selfie), Health Connect syncing, watch pairing and rest-timer notifications. Everything those features capture still shows up on the web - the photos are the one exception, since they're stored on-device only and never uploaded.

Common questions

Is the web dashboard free?

It's part of DropSet Pro. During the beta every Pro feature is unlocked for everyone, so yes - free right now. The first 50 waitlist signups keep it free for life.

Can I log a workout from the web?

Yes - the full logger works in the browser, set types, calculators and all. Most people still log on their phone at the gym and use the web for reviewing and planning, but nothing stops you training next to a laptop.

Why does my phone's browser send me to the Play Store?

DropSet is app-only on mobile - the app does timers, notifications and the camera properly, which a mobile browser can't. The web dashboard is meant for desktop screens.

Do I need to create a separate account?

No. One account covers both - create it in the Android app, then sign in on the web with the same email and 6-digit code.
